Hello, we're Hannah and David, Hilda's Christian Union reps. Whether you're a Christian already, or just interested; fifth year, or fresher-to-be; whatever your situation, whatever your background, we'd love to hear from you.
We feel that we have benefitted hugely from the Christian community that is the CU here at St Hilda's. Life at Oxford can be very hard, and it can be fantastic; in both situations, it is invaluable to have a friendly and supportive group of other Christians with whom to pray, talk, read the Bible and have fun.
But it cannot be all about personal benefit. Most importantly, as Christians we want to love and serve God and other people, sharing with our college, as best we can, the good news that is the Gospel of Christ.
We meet up for prayer every Saturday morning at 9:00 in the Chapel. In the same place on every second Wednesday at 7:30pm we also get together for Bible study, and on the remaining Wednesdays there are central OICCU meetings, with all the college Christian Unions together.
